Win the Green Card Lottery!

This is just plain weird stuff. What is our government thinking? How much tax dollars are going into this program? Not only do we have Americans throwing their savings away on get-rich-quick lotteries, but now we’re raising the hopes(?) of foreigners with a get-a-green-card-instantly scheme. It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad world.

I just don’t really know what to say about this. I saw the ad shown above on a New Zealand web site and didn’t really know what to make of it except that I thought it was bizarre. Perhaps after I have time to digest its implications I’ll have more to say.
